Skydiving Innovations performed a thrilling and memorable skydiving show for residents of, and visitors to Coronado this Fourth of July. Thanks to Discover Coronado (www.discovercoronado.com) and the Coronado Fourth of July Committee, four Skydiving Innovations’ performers were tasked with keeping spectators engaged and entertained prior to the annual Coronado fireworks show.
Professional demonstration skydivers USN Senior Chief Brian Binder, USN SEAL Chief Warrant Officer Keith Pritchett, USN SEAL Rear Admiral (Retired) Robert Harward and civilian performer Ron Lee performed their show from 5,500 feet over Glorietta Bay. They landed right on target at Stingray Point to the cheers of nearly a thousand spectators on the golf course and on boats in the bay. Drop Zone Safety Officers Todd Lee and Don Mullenix worked with Coronado Police Department staff to keep the landing area safe and clear during the performance. As with all Skydiving Innovations performances, many of the jumpers and ground crew shot video of the performance. You can see the edited video below.
Many thanks to everyone who helped make this performance possible, including Todd Little of Discover Coronado, Dave Szymanski of the Coronado Fourth of July Committee, the Coronado Police Department, Coronado Golf Course, Coronado Lifeguards, Todd Lee and Don Mullenix.
