Don served twenty years in the U.S Marine Corps achieving the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. Nine of the twenty years were spent deployed overseas. While in the Marine Corps, he served as a criminal investigator, hostage negotiator as well as a firearms instructor and training coordinator. Don began his skydiving career in 1995. He has been an accelerated Free Fall Jump Master and has obtained numerous other Pro Ratings. In 2006, Don was a member of a four way formation skydiving team that placed first at the U.S Nationals Skydiving Competition. He was also part of the elite group of Skydiving Innovations team members who participated in the inaugural jump aboard the USS Midway. Don servers as the drop zone safety officer at numerous skydiving performance and participates in the coordination and organization of many of the team building  and boot camp programs. He joined the Skydiving Innovations team in 1998. Don has 1485 jumps.
