Skydiving Innovations will conduct a Professional Demonstration Skydiver course at Skydive San Diego on Sunday, January 28, 2018. This comprehensive course covers most everything we’ve learned in 30 years of skydiving shows, and will prepare appropriately experienced and licensed skydivers to execute safe and professional demonstrations and shows. This course covers all administrative, regulatory and practical elements required to organize and safely execute FAA-authorized, and insured professional skydiving shows, including:
FAA and Insurance paperwork and requirements, FAA relationships, history of demonstrations gone wrong and why, crew (jumper, pilot , ground crew) selection, gear considerations, safe use of special effects (smoke, banners, flags, streamers, flares etc.), in-aircraft communications and operations, drop zone (landing) area management and much, much more.
Training Jumps Included:
This course includes four (4) training jumps utilizing the primary special effects. (Tethered flag, Suspended-weight flag, boot smoke and suspended smoke.) All jumps are from 5,000’ AGL. This course is all-inclusive:
Classroom instruction, all jumps, special effects/smoke/flags/streamers and complete course written materials. Minimum USPA C license required for this course.
